It might have been a forward, there was a decent amount of recipients. But I claimed it as a word spoken directly to me. I have "met" two new bloggy friends today who have offered encouragement and a favorite blog once again spoke His truth to my heart through the message posted. I've confessed, I've sought guidance, I've made my pleas known. I've been in His word, I've been on my knees. My kids have even been incredibly cooperative (not that common around here).
But that pesky Satan continues to strike. I've just had one huge downer of a phone call. There is some major tension in the air.
Yet I will continue to stand firm in my faith. I know nothing is impossible for my God! He is faithful and will see me through. I am drawing close and I will not give up!
We watched Facing the Giants The Giants with the girls last week. I keep remembering the overriding message- NOTHING is impossible for God.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Joshua 1:9
...Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Jeremiah 29:11

These scriptures are all amongst my favorite Bible verses...I think I'm going to print them off and hang them where I can view them each day. I've been feeling a good amount of stress lately myself, so I needed this post. Thank you for sharing your heart with us! I pray that whatever the enemy is trying to attack you or your family with, fill fall, in Jesus' name. He is under your feet, so don't forget to remind him of that daily... because "GREATER is Jesus in you, then he that is in the world." Praise God for His unfailing love!

My friend--stand, stand and stand some more. Do not give up or doubt God's faithfulness in your life. This IS your time of going through the Refiners Fire. You will come out the other side a yielded vessel--ready to do whatever He calls you to do. I can hardly wait to see how things unfold :)
If Satan is striking, then you can rest assured that you are on the right path! The enemy only tries to stop you when he knows that your actions are making a kingdom impact! That simple little truth brings me much encouragement when the enemy shows up (which he's been doing alot around here lately!) and I hope it does the same for you.
